An oasis in a lab of chaos
All is quiet at 6:30pm on a Friday night.The week is over.
A moment of peaceful tranquility in the tissue culture lab.
The darkness - highlighted by the calm glow of ultraviolet beams reflected through the perspex of the biological saftey cabinets.
The silence - perforated only by the the gentle hum of fridges, freezers and centrifuges.
The regular blink of the light on the 37 degree incubator - On Off On - like a visible orange heart beat.
And me, ready to renew the chaos all over again on Monday.
